Robinhood CEO’s AI Startup Harmonic Hits $1.45B Valuation in Latest Funding Round
Harmonic, the artificial intelligence firm co-founded by Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev, has secured a $1.45 billion valuation after raising $120 million in its latest funding round. The startup has now amassed $295 million across three funding rounds in just 14 months, underscoring intense investor appetite for next-generation AI ventures.
The company is tackling one of AI's most persistent challenges—hallucinations, where systems generate false or nonsensical outputs. Harmonic's solution centers on developing advanced reasoning capabilities, with CEO Tenev describing the goal as creating "mathematical superintelligence" free from factual errors.
At the Core of Harmonic's technology is Aristotle, an AI model trained on synthetic mathematical proofs. The system recently demonstrated elite performance at the International Mathematical Olympiad, matching results from established players like Alphabet's AI division.
